The 2-caterpillars haul-off unit is a key auxiliary machine widely used in plastic extrusion production lines. The haul-off unit is designed to provide stable and continuous traction for extruded profiles, pipes, and tubes, ensuring consistent line speed and product quality during the manufacturing process.

This haul-off unit adopts a dual-caterpillar traction structure, which ensures strong gripping force and smooth conveying of products without deformation or slippage. It is commonly integrated into PVC pipe extrusion lines, profile extrusion lines, and other plastic processing systems where precise pulling speed is required.

Haul-Off Unit Features:

The 2-caterpillars haul-off unit is engineered with a synchronized traction system that guarantees stable operation even at high production speeds. The upper and lower caterpillar belts are driven by high-torque motors, providing uniform pressure distribution on the product surface.

The haul-off unit is equipped with an adjustable pneumatic or mechanical clamping system, allowing operators to easily adapt to different product sizes and shapes. The traction speed is controlled by an inverter, enabling precise coordination with the extruder output.

Wear-resistant rubber pads or PU belts are used on the caterpillar chains to ensure strong friction while protecting the product surface from scratches or damage.

Haul-off Unit Working Principle:

During operation, the extruded product passes between the upper and lower caterpillar belts. The belts move in synchronization, applying uniform traction force to pull the product forward at a controlled speed.
