PE PP corrugated pipe extrusion production line is mainly used in municipal renovation projects, building construction, industrial and agricultural drainage, agricultural water-saving irrigation, sewage treatment projects and other fields.
Corrugated Pipe Extrusion Production Line Description:
PE PP corrugated pipe extrusion production line is mainly used in municipal renovation projects, building construction, industrial and agricultural drainage, agricultural water-saving irrigation, sewage treatment projects and other fields. Professionally designed, the SGB series PE PP corrugated pipe extrusion machine adopts direct extrusion (co-extrusion) molding technology and Siemens human-machine interface control system.
The corrugated pipe extrusion line has the advantages of high degree of automation, high output, reliable quality and stable operation, and is very popular among domestic and foreign customers.

FAQ:
The main types are single-wall corrugated pipes (smooth inner wall, corrugated outer wall) and double-wall corrugated pipes (smooth inner wall, corrugated outer wall with a solid middle layer), as well as special types like spiral corrugated pipes. Double-wall pipes are the most widely used due to their superior mechanical properties.
High ring stiffness, light weight, good flexibility, corrosion resistance, long service life, and ease of installation. The corrugated structure achieves “shape replacing material,” significantly increasing compressive strength while saving on material usage.
This is the standard configuration for double-wall corrugated pipe production. One extruder is responsible for the outer layer (corrugated layer), and the other for the inner layer (smooth layer). Independent control of the two extruders allows optimization of material formulation and process parameters for each layer.
Consists of a series of split metal blocks with internal corrugated cavities, driven by chains in a closed-loop movement. The blocks close to form a cavity, wrapping, pressurizing (or vacuum adsorbing), and cooling the extruded pipe parison. They then open to release the pipe and return to the starting point for the next cycle.
A servo-driven planetary cutter is typically used. The cutting blade orbits the pipe (revolution) while rotating (rotation) to make a clean cut through the crest of the corrugation, producing a flat cut end suitable for high-speed continuous production.
High-Density Polyethylene (HDPE) is the most mainstream choice due to its excellent toughness, corrosion resistance, and processability. PP (Polypropylene), PVC, etc., can also be used for specific types of corrugated pipes.
The choice depends on your specific needs, including the type of plastic you will process, the desired final product, required production capacity (throughput), and your budget. A good manufacturer will offer consultation to help you choose the right machine and plastic extrusion line configuration.
The cost can vary significantly depending on the machine’s size, type (single vs. twin screw), production capacity, level of automation, and the inclusion of downstream equipment. It’s important to consider the total cost of ownership, including energy consumption, maintenance, and spare parts.
We will outline the process for delivery, installation at the customer’s facility, and commissioning to ensure the machine is set up and running correctly.
